Gabriel García Márquez
Gabriel José de la Concordia García Márquez was a Colombian writer and journalist. Recognized principally for his novels and short stories, he also wrote narrative non-fiction, speeches, reports, film reviews and memoirs.
Gabriel García Márquez worked primarily as a writer and journalist. During his career, he wrote numerous novels, short stories and non-fiction works, establishing himself as one of the most prominent authors of the 20th century.
As a journalist, García Márquez worked for many newspapers and magazines in Colombia and other countries. He was a correspondent and reporter in various places, covering important events such as the military coup in Guatemala in 1954 and the Cuban Revolution in 1959.
In addition to his work as a writer and journalist, García Márquez also worked in film and theater. He participated in the writing of film scripts and adaptations of his own works for the cinema.
I like Gabriel García Márquez very much because he contributed a lot to narrative journalism and he hasgood works that I enjoy very much.

Long live García Márquez! Sometimes I imagine myself winning a Gabo award. Hahaha.

ResponderEliminarIn classes I had to analyze "Relato de un naufrago", a fictionalized story by García Márquez and it is impressive how he was able to realize a minute detail in a interview, which changed the whole story.
